Which one is yours

Three routes through three courses. Pick the one that sounds like where you are now, not where you want to end up.

  1. If you want a barista jobTake the IBC Basic. Four days, one module a day, from green coffee and roasting through brewing and espresso to latte art, ending in an assessed exam and the Italian Barista Certificate at Basic Barista. It assumes you have never touched a machine.See the four days
  2. If you already work on a barStart with the IBC Basic. It is required before either Advanced course, however long you have worked. After it, IBC Advanced Barista is two days on varietals, extraction, recipes and a speed test, and IBC Advanced Roasting is two days on curves, defects and cupping. Both Advanced courses are capped at 4 seats.See the four days
  3. If you just love coffeeLatte art and brewing are not sold on their own. Latte art is day 4 of the IBC Basic and brewing is day 2, so you learn them inside the whole four days rather than in an afternoon.See the latte art day

Where each course sits

One ladder. IBC Basic first, then either Advanced course, or both. Neither Advanced course requires the other.

The Italian Barista Certificate runs at two levels. IBC Basic is four days and assumes no machine experience. Above it sit two Advanced courses, Advanced Barista and Advanced Roasting, of two days each. The two Advanced courses are separate from each other, and the IBC Basic is required before either of them.

What each course costs

Quoted before GST, the way we quote it, with the total including GST at 18% under each one. ₹5,000 holds a seat on any of the three and comes off the fee.
