Espresso Academy India runs this website and the coffee courses described on it, from the campus in RMV 2nd Stage, Bengaluru. Where this page says “the academy”, that is who is responsible for the details you send.

When you send an enquiry: your name, your mobile number, the course and batch you picked, anything you type in the message box, the page you sent it from, and the campaign that brought you here if you arrived from one.

When you book a seat: the same details, plus the payment. The payment itself is taken by Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on Razorpay’s own checkout and are never sent to us or stored by us — the academy receives confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, and a reference number.

When you are only reading the site: nothing that identifies you, unless you agree to measurement. See “Cookies and measurement” below.

Your enquiry is stored in the academy’s content system, which is hosted by Sanity, and it is emailed to the academy through Resend so somebody sees it quickly. Your name, phone number, email address and message are encrypted on the stored record; staff see a shortened name on the list, and the full details only by opening them deliberately.

The forms are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which is what stops the site being filled with automated submissions. That check sends your IP address to Cloudflare. It does not receive anything you typed.

The website itself is hosted by Vercel. Sanity, Resend, Razorpay, Cloudflare and Vercel are service providers acting on the academy’s instructions, and some of them store data outside India.

We reply to you about the course you asked about, and if you book, we run the booking. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to anyone outside the academy and the service providers named above.

Where a batch fills up we may message you about the next one. Tell us to stop and we will, and it will not affect a booking you have already made.

The site sets one cookie of its own, and only to remember whether you agreed to measurement. Nothing is set before you answer.

If you agree, Google Analytics loads through Google Tag Manager and counts visits and which pages get read. If you do not, it never loads — measurement is switched off by default rather than switched off after the fact. There is no advertising pixel on this site.

Enquiries: until you ask us to delete them, or until they are clearly no longer useful to either of us. Booking and payment records are kept as long as the academy’s tax and accounting obligations require.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your agreement to measurement at any time. Message the academy on WhatsApp or call the number at the foot of this page and say what you want done. You do not have to give a reason.

If you are not happy with how the academy handles a request, say so on the same number and ask for it to be escalated. The academy is confirming who handles complaints of this kind formally, and this page will name them.
